Why seven blessings

Vanessa and her husband have seven children. They are, in the founders' words, the greatest blessings in their lives, and they are the reason for the name. For years the business ran as Vanessa's Cleaning Service, the name many longtime customers in Pasadena still know us by. Renaming it 7 Blessings was a way to put the whole family, and the faith that holds it together, at the center of the company.

How it started

Vanessa started cleaning professionally after helping relatives with their homes. She found she enjoyed the work and was good at it. She printed business cards and started handing them out. One early client recommended her to a neighbor, that neighbor recommended her to a friend, and the business grew the way the best local businesses do: one trusted referral at a time.

In the beginning, Vanessa and her husband did every job themselves. As demand grew, they hired and trained workers and began running separate teams. Along the way they took on office cleaning and post-construction final and touch-up cleaning, learning what each kind of customer needs and expects.

They also learned, through experience, that a cleaning company is only as strong as its people and its processes. Today that lesson is at the heart of how 7 Blessings is run: documented scopes, reliable teams, professional communication and a standard of quality that does not depend on any one person being in the room.

Your home or workplace is personal. We treat property, privacy and routines with care, and we follow the access and scheduling requirements you set.

We agree on the scope first

Before we start, you know what is included. No surprises on either side, and a clear reference point if something needs adjusting.

We pay attention to details

Baseboards, fixtures, the inside of the fridge on a move-out. The small things are what make a clean feel finished.

We communicate promptly

Questions get answers. If an issue comes up, you hear from us directly and we work to resolve it.

We keep our commitments

Reliability is the foundation of a long relationship. We show up when we said we would and do what we said we would do.

We listen and improve

Feedback is how we get better. Tell us what matters to you and we will build it into the next visit.

Relationships that last

Some of our customers have been with us for more than fifteen years. We have cleaned homes while the kids were small, while they were in high school, and after they left for college. Through the pandemic, when visits had to pause, many customers stood by us, and we have not forgotten it.

We do not take those relationships for granted. They were earned through consistency, and they are the clearest evidence of what we believe: that cleaning done with care, honesty and respect creates value far beyond a clean room.
